Mark your calendars for January 12-13, 2019, for the Sunny Zwilling Memorial Ice Carousel Extravaganza- ICE Fest, A FREE Family Friendly Weekend of Fun-outdoor extravaganza focused on “Reclaiming the World Record” for the largest ice carousel and raising funds for Flyer Pride Pack--Weekend Food Backpack Program. With a goal of raising $12,000 (the approximate amount to feed 60 students for a year), this is an event you will not want to miss! This event will provide a wide array of entertainment.
In addition to the Ice Carousel, entertainment will include the Figure Skating by the Winter Wonderland Figure Skating Club, a mini hockey tournament hosted by the Minnesota Monkeys AAA Hockey team, Learn to Curl & mini bonspiel hosted by the Vikingland Curling Club, Fat Tire Bike Ride & Striders with Touright, Nordic Ski with the Flyer Ski Team, and a speedskating demo and learn to speedskate with GMSA! Additionally, warming tents will be on-site for a break from the elements.
