Help us reach our goal to feed all the elementary children for one year. 15 million children in America face hunger. Today, more than 1 in 5 children lack sufficient nutritional food to grow, thrive and achieve ="Flyer Pride Pack" Weekend Food Backpack Program  ensures that children in need (within the Lindbergh Elementary and Lincoln Elementary of Little Falls and Doctor Knight Elementary of Randall) have balanced, nutritious food they need to learn and grow.

The concept is simple: children at risk of weekend hunger receive a bag of food that is child-friendly, nutritious, nonperishable, and easy to prepare/eat.

Every Meal focuses on the weekend food gap, when children aren't able to receive free and reduced meal programs at school.

Flyer Pride Pack supplies SEVEN healthy meals for the weekend
    - 2 breakfast items  - 2 lunch items  - 3 entrees  - a snack  - and fruit
Estimated Cost: $5.25 per bag  -38 Weeks of School  -$200.00 per year for ONE CHILD
    $200 x 60 eligible students= $12,000 per year!
Research of Weekend Food Programs... Teachers and Schools Reported:

      - Improvement in test scores
      - Positive behavioral gains
      - Decrease in number of unexcused absences.
      - Increased recognition of potential career paths.
