20 Things You Can Do With (And In) The Snow This Winter

Eat, Play, Paint, Sculpt ... all things snow related. Perfect for those Winter Carnivals
  1. Create a snow maze
  2. Maple Snow Taffy - Coooked maple syrup drizzled over snowand wrapped around a lollipop stick.   * Note fresh fallen CLEAN snow only
  3. DIY Snowman Snap Game - Find two matching images for a chance to win!
    Example: Prizes vary from a tootsie pop for playing to DQ Gift Card top prize etc...
    All proceeds can go to event cause/purpose.
  4. Snowbank Skee Ball - A few tin cans, spray paint, craft paint and vinyl numbers, along with some snow, put a new twist on an old arcade game,
  5. Ice Balloon Marbles - Create giant, colored marbles by filling balloons with water and food coloring, then leaving them outside to freeze.Can be done a week prior to event!
  6. Frosty Snowball Toss - two ways to play. Uses ping pong balls, mini led lights and decorated 4" containers
  7. Colored Snow Paint Graffiti Art – have some fun with food coloring and water bottles. (Alternative recipes using cornstarch​, or Kool-Aid instead of food coloring
  8. Family Boot Hockey - No skates or ice puck needed
  9. Broom Ball - no *skates required and actual Brooms

  11. Create a Puffy Snow Paint Keepsake- Print out some black and white snowman outlines with your Event Logo on it, for kids to fill in. Simple ingredients are with equal parts of Babasol Shave cream (overflow that measuring cup for more rubbery texture) and Elmer's Glue.

  12. Snow Ghosts - Add a glow stick or a led light from your local DollarStore for eyes into these snowbanks. For colored eyes... tape Colored Cellophane around the lens.

  14. Individual Ice Cream in a Bag Treats -Grab some plastic bags, combine some ingredients,and shake it up! Let the kids make their own ice cream in about 10-12 minutes using 2 Quart size plus 1 Gallon ZIPLOC bags (1 for saftey in case bag get holes in it), some milk, sugar, vanilla, a few ice cubes, and tablesome salt. Add some sprinkles for fun when done. Alternatives: Hallf-Half variation or do your own Fresh Fallen SNOW Ice Cream
  15. Build a snowman (Various creations) - Snow not sticky enough? Carve a Snowman out of the "packed" Snowbanks
  16. Go tubing - Get some use out of those snowbanks by creating these simple hills for kids to enjoy.
  17. Make Frozen Bubbles (tips/tricks for getting bubbles to freeze included in post) - Perfect for those below zero days.Basic Homemade Giant Bubble Solution is simply 1 1/2 cups of water, 1/2 cup of dish soap, 1/4 cup of white corn syrup
