Chuck Zwilling and his family hosted the Ice Carousel Extravaganza (I.C.E.) Fest with, yet again, a world record breaking ice carousel and tons of family-fun activities to raise proceeds for the Flyer Pride Backpack program. Nearly $11,000 has been raised as of Feb. 12 , with the goal to raise $15,000 to provide children in need with nutritious meals to eat over the weekend. The two-day event, all set on top of frozen Green Prairie Fish Lake provided a multitude of activities and learning opportunities.

he festival had a large fire pit and warming tents for visitors to warm up while enjoying donation-only soups, drinks and snacks. One tent even had a short film playing to show the creation process of the ice carousel, which reached nearly 750 feet in diameter. The Zwillings are still collecting donations for the Flyer Pride Pack program on Gofundme.com. Donations can also be made to Little Falls Schools. - McRecord
